Talented Friends

Talented Friends

A small write up for some of the talented folk I’ve met through craft fairs, and whose work has caught my eye for it’s originality and style.

Sascha Rawlinson makes fabulous hand made jewellery, producing her own beads and pendants, with some really innovative designs, including rings that are comfortable for sufferers of arthritis to wear.  Some of the material is sourced from abroad, such as specialist light weight metal, to produce heavy looking jewellery, that is surprisingly light to wear.  The heart shaped pendants are a speciality, are made by hand and decorated with semi precious stones.  Sascha also does house parties in the North West, just email for details – This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Julie's Handbag StallHandbag made by Julie GossFor beautiful hand made handbags, make up cases and more, take a look at the website of Julie Goss – www.swallowdesigns.net – every bag and piece is unique, with something slightly different about each design.  They are lined, many with Japanese silk, and the standard bag comes with a zip pocket, and open pocket inside, and closes with a strong magnetic clasp.  Should you want something in a different colour, with a motif or pocket arrangement of your choice, Julie is more than happy to make bags to order.

Caught in the Rain, by Rosa Maria DudzinskiChinese Garden, by Rosa Maria Dudzinski

Rosa Maria Dudzinski produces highly contemporary art work, with various original pieces for sale, as well as limited edition prints.  I’ve done a couple of craft fairs now with Rosa Maria, and love popping over to her stand to look through the art work on display.  The striking and contrasting colours really stand out, a very unique and impressive style, take a look through the galleries on her website – www.rosamariaart.co.uk
