Here at ‘Hi lost’ we aim to make selecting the right gundog equipment not only easy but informative too.

We have built on traditional products to make them more robust and user-friendly. We have also added a few unique ideas of our own such as the 'warm game dummy trainer' and revisited colours used to reflect the limited colour vision of dogs. Throughout we have kept you and your dogs’ training success upper most in our minds. These are smarter products for smarter gundogs.

At Wylanbriar we aim to produce and own moderate sized labradors with true biddable temperaments that are equally at home out shooting and on the sofa.

We are a small kennel with between 6 and 8 Labradors and we have one maybe two litters a year at most. All our dogs spend a lot of time in the house and our oldies stay with us to live out their lives, indoors, in comfort.

We actively work all our dogs both in the beating line and picking up. They all run in working tests and, if good enough, in field trials and are occasionally shown including at Crufts each year in the Gamekeeper ring. We REALLY care that the breed remains true to its origins of being able to turn its paw to anything! Our dogs also occasionally run in obedience competitions and take their kennel Club canine good citizen awards. We only use stud dogs on our girls who, alongside good health scores, have been either or both shown and worked to good effect. It makes finding excellent husbands difficult, but that is our passion.

For anyone living in the Stocksbridge area, my good friend Jenny, has taken on a livery business, and is providing full livery at a lovely little yard next to us.  Her website is JB Equestrian Services - Indie and Tau love saying hello to Jenny and the horses every day!  Jenny's expertise has helped with both her own horse Monti, who has been recovering from a spinal operation, and Daisy, whose leg was broken in an incident with a horse at another yard.  Both are now very much on the road to recovery with Jenny's hard work and dedication, so if you are looking for a good quality livery with someone experienced in horse ownership and welfare, Jenny's new business can provide you with a first class livery service.

Contender Gundogs was founded by Natasha Bujnoch - previously a full-time Game Keeper but now runs Contender gundogs full time.

The kennels are based on a Suffolk Country Estate but has also either access to or rights of further training ground and shoots in other counties. We specialise in GUNDOG CLINICS and TRAINING DAYS which includes Water clinics, Introduction to the Shooting Field and Picking-up training days.

Ettinsmoor Labradors is a smal kennel of Fox Red Working Labradors owned by Jill Parsons and based near Kings Lynn in Norfolk.

All of the dogs are worked regularly through the shooting season as picking up dogs.  The younger dogs run in tests through the summer and compete in Field Trials from the 2009/10 season onwards.

Fox Red Working Labradors are my passion but I fully intend to do my best by selective breeding to improve the quality of my dogs.  The dogs are my hobby and not a commercial venture.  I have only been involved with Labradors for eleven years, but before that spent fifteen years showing and working Weimerarners.
