I started drawing when very young, producing my first recognisable picture of a mouse at the tender age of 18 months.  Since then, drawing has always been a hobby, and I count myself as very fortunate to be able to pick up a pencil and within the space of a few minutes, bring together a sketch; it has always been a natural talent and something I have been able to do without any training.

Only recently I decided to make drawing into a little more than just a hobby, and set up TarimoorArt, along with the help and encouragement of others.  It is something I have always wanted to do, and seeing my work as cards and prints, and having people ask me to portray their pet or working animal is incredibly gratifying.

My main passion for drawing has always been animals and of course horses were my favourite subject as a young girl.  I love to capture the movement and character of a particular animal, and even a posed portrait conveys a sense of that creature, particularly in the eyes.  I also love walking my two Labradors, Indie and Tau, out in the countryside, with a camera to hand to photograph subjects to perhaps portray at a later date.
