Octavia, the African Hawk Eagle

Detailed pen and ink study of an impressive eagle, with a wing span close to 1.5m.  They are bold hunters, quartering low over the ground, or stooping from soaring.  They are found in hilly or wooded areas, avoiding the open plains and thick forest.
